Our Second Campus
Hayesville First United Methodist Church acquired the Sweetwater property, located five miles west of Hayesville on U.S. Highway 64, in January 2014. Sweetwater has a rich history of serving this community since the 1800s.
Today the campus is home to several recovery and support groups that meet throughout the week, continuing a long tradition of this building being a place where people find help and hope.
Who Meets at Sweetwater
Alcoholics Anonymous
An open fellowship for anyone who wants to stop drinking. Meetings are held at the Sweetwater campus.
Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families
A twelve-step support group for adults who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes.
DivorceCare
A support group for people working through separation and divorce, meeting alongside our other recovery ministries.
