About the Center
Hayesville Child Development Center is proud to be the longest-running childcare center in Clay County, North Carolina. We provide quality, affordable, and flexible care for families in Clay County and nearby communities, serving children ages 0–5.
Our program includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and we believe children learn best through play.
The center is located in the lower level of Hayesville First United Methodist Church. Licensed by the State of North Carolina, it holds a superior rating and a Five Star Rating License, is licensed for 45 children, and enrolls children with special needs.
Our Playground Renovation
We are excited to share that our outdoor playground renovation is underway.
Ages 0–2/3 — Complete
The playground for our youngest children is finished, with new rubber mulch and new play equipment.
Preschool Playground — In Progress
Renovations are underway with new rubber mulch, a jungle gym, and additional equipment.
We look forward to all our children, as well as the children of the church, enjoying these wonderful improvements.
